Favorite Five: July Edition

July 1, 2020

It's July 1st! And do you know what that means? We made it halfway through the year! What a wild one it's been so far.  We truly hope things are looking up for you and your loved ones.

It's a new month, which also means it's time for another Favorite Five! Here are a couple of things I've been loving at the moment! Hope you enjoy! - xo Laurel

1. Annie Selke Rugs

We love Annie Selke rugs! We used the Melange Stripe Grey/Black rug (shown above) in a recent project and loved the way it gives a relaxed vibe to a room! They wear incredibly well too. Our team is considering using the same one in our new offices.

2. Freshly Picked Dill

Dill is one of my favorite herbs we grow in our garden. I use it in so many different recipes but most often over fresh fish or mixed into chicken salad. Yum!

3. Outdoor Living Tip Tuesday Series

We recently released a Tip Tuesday video series on outdoor living and featured our home. Living in Atlanta, we have long, warm seasons, so the back and side yard was crucial to get right. Our friends at Neptune Pools helped us create a beautiful oasis that we are so grateful for. They are our favorite company to recommend to our clients in the area.

This is a cookbook that you'll actually want to read the entire thing and not just the recipes. I have already gifted four books to friends and clients!

5. Mountain Biking

I love Mountain Biking! I am proud of myself for giving this sport a try. While we were all spending time social distancing this Spring, my boys convinced me to give single track riding a try. The fresh air and exhilarating near-death experience (yikes!) of riding over rocks and roots hooked me. We are spending quality time as a family in the woods, and I am seeing a different side of my teenagers since they are taking the teacher role with me. They are very patient coaches and the best encouragers to Mom.
