Benton Street Interior - Part 1

May 13, 2020
You might have seen this newly completed project already from our Instagram and Facebook (follow us to stay in the loop!).  The Benton Street Interior has been getting a lot of attention, and for a good reason! If you'd like to see it for yourself, and also get the inside scoop, keep reading!

We began with a remodel to many key areas of this home and finished off our project with furnishings for all three levels of the home.

We hope you enjoy part 1 of the Benton Street Interior Photo Tour!

The Kitchen
Let's begin with the heart of the home, the kitchen! We decided to replace a double island causing dysfunctional walkways with a single large, better-functioning island. Not only does the new island work better for our client's cooking life, but it also provides much-needed storage with the addition of drawers throughout the space. We love how this kitchen turned out and so did our friends at Houzz! Houzz recently featured this kitchen in an article about cabinet color, and we were able to give more insight into how we designed this beautiful kitchen. Click here to check it out!

The Keeping Room

For the keeping room, we decided to keep the existing beams and paint the walls Sherwin Williams # 7671 On The Rocks. Elegance meets modern chic with furniture selections paired with the iron chandelier (Restoration Hardware) and iron bookcases (Burke Decor).

The Living Room

Our formal living room is a beautiful example of unfussy elegance. We loved using these linen woven accent chairs from Restoration Hardware in the room. They help keep the room bright and clean. Adding touches of deep oak helped ground the room and add a sense of luxury. Our client's, baby grand definitely helped a little. ;)

The Dinning Room

For the dining room, it's safe to say that the antique mirror we had installed really steals the show. It is furnished with a gorgeous black sideboard from McGee & Co, dining table and chairs Restoration Hardware (existing), and hand-tufted wool rug also from McGee & Co.

The Office

We were able to transform our clients outdated, dark wood-paneled office into a chic and sophisticated space. The hints of gold found in the wall sconces and beaded chandelier (both Circa Lighting) add the perfect touch of feminine glitz.

Master Bedroom

For our last stop of Part 1 of the Benton Street Photo Tour, we have the master bedroom. This main level master bedroom was so fun to design. The room includes a morning bar, fireplace, and a spacious sitting room. Keeping in theme with the entire home, we made sure to show the natural beauty and design of the house by keeping things refined and simple. The creams and sophisticated blue/gray tones add a breath of fresh air to the entire room. Some of the star pieces include the  Chandelier - Circa Lighting, bedroom rug - Surya, and charcoal dresser - Restoration Hardware.
