Rivershyre Bathrooms - IH Photo Tour

February 26, 2020

In this IH Photo Tour, we will be walking through the Rivershyre Bathrooms. We remodeled three bathrooms for this project; the master bathroom, the kids' bathroom, and the powder bathroom. We had a great time working on this project, and we hope you enjoy the tour! - Laurel

The Master Bathroom

IH Blog - Rivershyre Bathrooms 2-1Our client wanted something elegant yet modern, so in the master bathroom, we kept things crisp and clean. We used Sherwin Williams Snowbound for the walls in an eggshell finish, and for the vanity cabinets, we used Benjamin Moore Cobblestone Path in a semi-gloss. The vanity color brings a fun, yet sophisticated feel to the room, while also adding depth.

We also brought in some elegance by incorporating polished chrome hardware and this charming beaded chandelier. Adding pieces with a bit of character helps make an all-white room feel warmer.

The Kids' Bathroom

In the kids' bathroom, we had fun using a subway tile with a darker grout for the shower and then mixing it up by using a hexagon tile for the floor. It's playful for the kids, yet something they won't grow out of! This is important to keep in mind when designing a space with lasting value.

The Powder Room

Your powder room shouldn't be an afterthought! We wanted to continue the elegance of the master bath to the downstairs powder. We used brushed nickel hardware again but changed it up by incorporating this rounded rectangle mirror. The brackets on the top and bottom of the mirror add an industrial detail to the room. But the sophistication isn't lost.
