Hi there, and welcome back! Today we will be sharing a sampling of selections we chose for the new Studio! We are thrilled that we have the opportunity to work with a variety of amazing vendors, and we also have trade accounts with some pretty incredible brands. Like we mentioned in our previous blog about the design phase, we love to start with mood boards of each room. This helps us begin the creative process of picking out the selections for each space. When we say "selections," we are referring to all of the materials, furnishings, fixtures, appliances, and paint that make up the space. We use a project management software to keep track of all of these choices we make. This is one of the most significant reasons why we're able to keep things so organized.
We spend lots of time going over each selection, making sure it is in the budget, flows with the design, will be shipped promptly, and also the quality is up to our standards. If a product makes it through our process, it's loaded into our PM software. One of the beauties of this software is the ability to load in multiple selections for one room. This gives our clients the ability to virtually choose from what we've professionally selected. It's incredibly easy, and it makes picking out the right things for your home simple and fun!
Now, let's take a look at some of the fixtures we've selected for the Studio!
The Eugene Large Pendant for above our conference room table.
We thought this Circa Lighting pendant by designer Thomas O'brien was a perfect lighting solution for our Conference Room. Since the conference table will be in front of large windows expanding across the office, we knew that just two of these would be enough to light the table perfectly. We choose the bronze finish for a sleek look.
The Soft Seeded Vanity Light for the Men's Bathroom
This seeded glass light fixture from Shades of Light brings gentle charm to the modern yet rustic Men's Bathroom. A round backplate and curved shades help bring a classic touch to the masculine matte black finish.
The Dawson Sconce for the Women's Bathroom.
Look familiar? We mentioned this beautiful Capital Lighting sconce in our April Favorite Five! Check it out now to find out why we've been loving! We knew it would be a perfect choice for the Women's bathroom.
The Cabinet Maker's Picture Light for our studio.
Check out this gorgeous Circa Lighting picture light sconce. We will be using this guy in the Design Studio above floating shelves. We were between the Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass finish and the Bronze. We ended up choosing the brass! We think it will add a charming pop of color to the white subway tiled backsplash.
The Rounded Rectangle Metal Framed Mirror for both bathrooms.
We went with this simple yet stylish Rejuvenation mirror for both the women and men's bathrooms. We chose the polished nickel, top left, for the women's and the oil-rubbed bronze ,top right, for the men's. A timeless addition!
